Directly from the "cold Acriltex" series also comes an opaque ink on dark background (the price refers to 1 kg of product).
A screen-printing ink of this type, or aqueous emulsion, can print on a variety of fabrics with excellent adhesion and excellent hiding power: cotton, tnt, blended, acrylic, polyester, polyamide, Tyvek, PVC.
Concerning textile printing, it is advisable to use matrices 34-43-61-77 threads/cm and emulsions Plus 7000. The ink may be diluted with 5% water (or else with 5% white spirit). The ink dries (outside, dust in 20'-30 'depending on the ventilation and room temperature. The resistance to washing in the washing machine must be tested after 2-3 days, while the resistance in the dryer must not be tested before 4-5 days.
Textile Printing. To improve the resistance to washing. Prepare the following mixture : ink 1000 g . Catalyst 40 gr . Total 1040 --------- gr . Note : the waste ink , put in a jar with lid , lasts 5 to 7 days. The ink may be diluted with 5 % water ( or with 5 % mineral turpentine )
You can speed up the process in the following manners:
- Oven 3'-4 'at 90 ° C
- Press 5 "-20" at 90 ° C
- Stretch it a with diaphragm with parchment paper or silicone paper at 90 ° C
It thus refers to printing on flexible materials, polymers, coated, etc. We advise to use arrays 61-77 threads/cm and we recommend a possible dilution with 5% water.
Printing and drying is similar to printing textiles: if the materials are absorbent there will be a faster drying process; if the materials are waterproof (example: synthetic leather, PVC) drying will be slower.
All of the inks are all of type FPT (food packaging and toys) suitable for printing on toys and in accordance with norm EN 71 Part III.
